Corona Bowl - December 22, 2006
Armed with his new toy (digital slr and a couple of lenses) Lee really wanted to go on a tour. The promised clear skies kept taunting us all day but we still managed to get in a jaunt over to the Spearhead Glacier and Corona Bowl slackcountry.
Here's Lee on the skintrack over to the Don't Swill chute entrance.

We managed to get first tracks down Don't Swill. Hmm everyone else must have slept in.
After doing a few flat light laps on the Spearhead Glacier (lucky all the crevasses are filled in) we head over to Corona Bowl. Not much traffic there as everyone seems to have headed over to Husume. Here's Sharon setting an escalator skin track.
then down Corona Bowl. Not super deep as the snowpack is stabilizing rapidly and tightening up.
Here's Lee, still recovering from a bad bout of flu and looking a bit worse for wear. He was quite offended as even the snowboarders were passing him on the cat track... We finished our run by traversing the top of the Glacier and coming down Lower Poop Chutes.
