Duffey – Duke
Decided to check out Duke via Casper. With enough snow its an easy but long
trek in.
If your objective is Duke, keep going up the road as far as you can and head
up the North Bowl just past the trees. Staying right will take you up Vantage
which may be good if its too sunny.
Heading up the road
Duke proper in the back. We didn’t go here because it was too late. To ski
this face, might be better to go straight up it instead of up the west ridge
and around the back. The Duke Couloir is in the rocky feature lookers left.
