Burnie Glacier Chalet, Smithers BC
Day 5 of our 7 day guided trip to Burnie Glacier Chalet with Tom Wolfe of Sawback Adventures took us towards Pass Peak.

We were all hoping for a shorter day today given that we’d been putting in pretty good days. It did not freeze overnight so the snow was soft and the temps were warm so we also didn’t think the skiing would be that good. We ventured up to Pass peak and skied South, South East and East facing slopes and put in our biggest day yet! 1600m! The snow was actually pretty good, and the cool wind of the glacier kept us energized and wanting more!
This day also afforded us some stellar views of the Burnie Glacier.
