Hilda Hut Valkyr Range March 3-10th 2024

Day 1 we stuck to the trees to get a feel for the conditions. Pretty bomber in the trees. Day 2 we headed up towards Gateway Col, did a short run down the back but it was too deep and not steep enough so we came back and did a couple of Norns runs.
Day 1
980m Espresso and Burton
– Ski down to the lower lake on the West facing side, and a ski down to the Burton FSR on the East facing side.
Day 2
1200m Gateway to Norns
– Checked out Gateway col, skied down backside, too heavy, Finished on two laps of Norns – Secret Lover and Wishbone.
