Trip to Eastern Canada

Oct 11 – Oct 29

Trailforks Logs of Our Trip

Part 1 || Part 2 || Part 3 || Part 4

I had an Aikido Seminar in Halifax at White Point Beach Resort so we decided to have an extented vacation to check out the fall colours of Eastern Canada. We were not dissapointed!

We flew into Toronto, Stayed with a friend in Haliburton Ontario, drove to Ottawa, Montreal, through New Brunswich, visited another friend in Wentworth Nova Scotia before heading to Liverpool, Nova Scotia. The seminar was in White Point Beach Resort. After the seminar we continued exploring the west and north coast of Nova Scotia before flying out of Halifax. 4300km of driving!

Part 3

Fundy National Park and Area.

We stayed at Mountain View Solitude Inn. Nice place. We booked on Booking.com which said only one room has breakfast but they all do. Call to book direct and confirm. At Fundy we hiked – Matthews Head Trail, Point Wolf Beach Access, Dickson Falls Trail, Dobson Link and Hopewell Rocks. One rainy day we drove to St Martin’s Sea Cave and did a short hike near our Inn at Mary’s Point. Last call in New Brunswick was the Moncton Tidal Bore! The tide rolls up the Petitcodiac River.
