May Okanagan Trip
As winter winds down and spring is in the air, the Okanagan Valley is a great place for the first camping trip of the year. The riding is also great at this time.
For this trip we booked a site at Bear Creek Provincial campground for three nights and stayed two nights at the OK Fall Rec site. Bear Creek must be reserved early, especially on weekends. Ok Falls Rec site is FCFS and quiet and in a great location!
This trip our first ride enroute was in Merritt at the Coutlee Trails.
We then decided to ride McDougal Rim. The trail is ok, ridden by Moto’s so wide. Access is a road. It’s a worthwhile ride for the views and experienc. We also rode Smith Creek.
We then met up with Johnny Smoke to ride Rock Oven Classic. This ride is no longer ‘public’ but still there and a grunt.
We then rode Three Blind Mice.
