Rogers Pass to Montana Road Trip.

Despite the drama happening in America in 2025 and our reluctance to head south, Lance was celebrating his 60th birthday so we had to go! We made a road trip to include some hiking in Rogers Pass and riding in Invermere, Kimberley and Fernie.

This story has photos from Lance’s Bday. We rode Lake Como, a Montana mountain jank epic – Macho Nacho and the Legacy Bike Park near Lakeside, Montana.

A word about Legacy – A privately owned shuttle access mountain bike park built in 2021. It has trails for all abilities, mostly flow with some techy enduro sections. You must reserve to access, the area is gated and you have to use their shuttle. They have a basecamp area, camping area and will host special events such as Lance’s Birthday!

As we heading South to Hamilton Montana we were asked by the Customs agent, why are you going to Hamilton Montana? Our friend is turning 60 we reply! Ah I see. So on we went!

Macho Nacho

Our second ride we shuttled up Skalkaho Hwy to Crystal creek Campground to ride Macho Nacho! This is a long, classic Montana Jank ride with great views! We were joined by locals – Jeff Kern and Josh Cooper.
