Japow Feb 2026. Aomori and Otaru

2026 Links Aomori – Hakkoda – Kiroro – Kokusai

We had an uneventful flight from Aomori to Chitose, picked up a Toyota Noah from the rental place a shuttle away. We drove into Sapporo so Tyler could pick up some snow board binding parts and then we were back a Furukawa Otaru Onsen! Since we skied here last year, we decided to focus on skiing at Kiroro and Kokusai as they still had much to offer. Still do.

Photos here are skiing at Kiroro. One day we skied inbounds, second day we took the Gondola to the top and skied a few laps inbounds then toured towards Mt Yoichi. Third day we storm skied.
