Daroca and Albarracin

On our way to Valencia from Zaragoza we stopped at two intersting sites – Daroca and Albarracin.
Daroca was a historical stop between Valencia and Zaragoza. It was inhabited by the Muslims, then Christians. Its industry is based on Agriculture. They are working on making it a tourist destination as well as a place that hosts many festivals. We walked through the city and along the Route of the Walls. The walls were started by the Muslums and continued by the Christians.
Albarracin is a small town in the hills of east-central Spain, near the Guadalaviar River. Medieval walls, the Murallas de Albarracín, tower above the adjacent hillside. The largest is the 10th-century Andador Tower. The ruins of an alcázar, or Moorish castle, stand on top of a cliff in the old part of town. There is a 16th-century Catedral del Salvador which features a bell tower which was built on the ruins of a Romanesque temple.
