After visiting 50 countries, all 7 continents and 1300+ days (43 months) on the road, these 6 places are my favourites. Deciding this list was not hard since these 6 were that much better than everything else. |
The Cook Islands of Rarotonga and Aitutaki in the South Pacific ocean. 7 days in April 1999. |
The Karakoram Highway from Rawalpindi, Pakistan to Kashgar, China. 54 days in the fall of 1999. |
The Everest and Annapurna Circuit treks, Nepal Himalaya. 22 and 28 days respectively. Fall 1999. |
The Galapagos Islands in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Ecuador. 12 days in spring 2004. |
